Kanye West Interrupts Jimmy Carter

At a town hall meeting in Atlanta on Wednesday, Jimmy Carter repeated his comments of the previous day,

"I think people are guilty of that kind of personal attack against Obama, have been influenced to a major degree by a belief that he should not be president because he happened to be African American."

Carter might have elaborated further if it had not been for the inebriated Kanye West, who stormed onto the stage and interrupted the ex-President's prepared statements.

Mr. West's publicist refused to comment on whether Kanye's remarks were racially motivated.

Michael Steele took 'der Nationalen Hämorrhoiden' to task on the racism issue late Wednesday.

Michael Steele nailed it. The Dem party has been the minoirities' worst enemy over the last 4 decades.

I met Michael Steele in a local grocery store and he is simply a gentleman. I am happy he is the chair of the GOP and he is absolutely right on this one. The Dems are more interested in keeping minorities and lower income folks dependent on the government than actually helping them
